I started with those pedals and wheel Try to get a load cell brake if you can makes a huge difference Yeah I do want to get a load cell, but I think right now it's pointless because my office chair will just roll away if I have to apply a lot of force to the brake.

It was a quick fix. We had a GES race on the saturday, and friday afternoon not even 24 hours before the race I found out that my house would be without internet as my family loaned our internet to the local scouts who were skyping with out scouts around the world. So I went into work saturday morning took over an office and setup there. It was quick, it was not the best, and a god damn rolling office chair is not what you need, but i knew we had that roll of steel and box of steel parts that would do the trick

It's happening... after sitting for years on a wobbling Playseat, I just ordered a motedis alu rig... one of the most stable simrig constructions available for a moderate price. I can barely wait to build it up.

Nice job Nenad,
Pics of those packages bringing back heavy memories. Thought aluminium was a light metal. Until someone puts some meters of the stuff in a package... Luckiliy I didn't had to move the packages so far. But it sure looks good, the height adjustable wheelplatform is something I like and the pedalbox which can be tilted to ones liking also a nice touch. Have fun with it!!!

Here's a glimpse of my rig, and my kid apparently... It's been up and running like this about 3 or 4 years already, looking exactly the same since day one. My original wheel set was a very old Logitech Formula Force GP, got my G27 two years ago. I joined iRacing a bit later about a year ago. It was originally built for dirt2, dirt3 and Euro truck Simulator. Now it's only running two games which are Project cars and iRacing. Project cars gathering dust (so to speak) and I only run it when iRacing is down like right now.. It looks a little dated now, and it is... looking at replacing the 3 three old monitors, and getting a proper seat/rig. the PC itself (which is not seen) is still good, only needing maybe a GPU upgrade and additional ram.
@xtr4log, what's your plan with your playseat? is it still sturdy?

Thats fantastic Neil. I get my daughters out in the cars they destroy them but lots of fun....lol. Yeah, the destruction without consequence... so much fun! This happens almost everyday. The funny thing is I'm loving it, even if he gets in my way, preventing me from entering a proper race. I just let him while he can. Sometimes I even wish he won't grow, stay a 3 year old forever and let us do the things we love everyday. But that's all wishful thinking, he will grow and have his own way... The video isn't really made for this thread, it's for his own memories when he grow up, and for the world to see how we have fun together. I just thought to share while really bored waiting for iRacing to be back up again.

Your rig is great. You just need to teach your wife not to leave old bits of scrap material laying on it At least the seat is the right colour!

Like the rig you got JB, but like those marshall amps a bit more... Nice combo you got there.
