Another tip for VR: I know you will be excited to jump in right away but please make sure you first set the view as good as you can before you start driving. Really try to make sure you feel like your head and hands are in the right places so that your brain doesn't have as much adjusting to do. I would also stick with 1 car until you get ised to it. Hope it goes well Jan.

I didnt mess with most of those but I did take Pixel Density down (I think to 125 or 100) so that I could max out most of my in game settings. Even with my 6700k and 1080 strix i had stuttering at some points on high demandig tracks. Lowering the PD kept my FPS very smooth and I did not notice any difference in resolution. As for motion sickness I actually did try playing with the settings he recommends in that thread. The funny thing is it actually made me way more motion sick. I think it's like I said earlier, you just have to get used to whatever setting you're using.

Soo that guy wrote me at planned time of pick up that he have sensitive skinn and he changed mind... so I decided in 3x1440p/144hz/IPS/Gync/27" screens. Combination of payday, black friday and the biggest IT consumer expo in singapore helped me decide.. Saved 800$ Predator XB271HU waiting for VESA

VESA managed, this is the 1st time for me to setup tripple on PC. Does somebody have some easy step by step i. terms of configuration? I red some 5years old stuff on iracing, but I believe that a lot or changed from that. my main concern is border/bezel/frame compensation - I have not got that at all. angles and fov is clear to me.

Nice setup! What I remembered from triples and bezel, iRacing fixes that in the options tab. Just add the data that's needed. Monitor horizontal with and without the bezel if I remember correctly.

Jan i've been looking at the pg279q for months now as my next upgrade. If you can tell me a few things that would be great 1. What fps are you getting? (alone and in a field of cars) 2. Are you running them in 3 x 1440p? If so, what kind of minimum frames are you getting? If not then why not? 3. How well do the monitors meet edge to edge? Is it totally seemless? No parts of the bezel sticking out, etc? 4. What is the 'real' bezel thickness? As in, from the last pixel to the edge, as i have bought monitors before with extremely thin physical bezels but the pixels were not right to the bezel edge. 5. How much were they? Do you know of anywhere to get good deals on them? 6. What is the screen quality itself like? Good colour reproduction? Any ghosting? What is the viewing angle like of the side monitors? Does the angle cause obvious colour differences between the center and outer screens? 7. Out of 10, how good are they? Is it worth waiting for better screens to be released? 8. What's bad about them? If anything? I've read reviews and so on but i'd like honest opinions from someone actually using them in the same application. If they really are that good then i might just give in and accept the cost.

Jan i've been looking at the pg279q for months now as my next upgrade. If you can tell me a few things that would be great 1. What fps are you getting? (alone and in a field of cars) JB - Silverstone alone 350-600, Traffic with 30 cars - 160-350 2. Are you running them in 3 x 1440p? If so, what kind of minimum frames are you getting? If not then why not? JB- running 3x 1440p. Min rates was 120 on Nordsch in traffic 3. How well do the monitors meet edge to edge? Is it totally seemless? No parts of the bezel sticking out, etc? JB - Yes, perfect match 4. What is the 'real' bezel thickness? As in, from the last pixel to the edge, as i have bought monitors before with extremely thin physical bezels but the pixels were not right to the bezel edge. JB - width with bezels 616mm, pixel to pixel 596mm 5. How much were they? Do you know of anywhere to get good deals on them? JB - Live in Singapore so local price not relevant for you Black friday and IT expo made it 1000SGD per piece. 6. What is the screen quality itself like? Good colour reproduction? Any ghosting? What is the viewing angle like of the side monitors?Does the angle cause obvious colour differences between the center and outer screens? JB - colour is perfect central and angles as well, no difference on sides outside main focus area. No ghosting if correct setting in OSD. I do have 60deg on side monitors and fov 179 7. Out of 10, how good are they? Is it worth waiting for better screens to be released? JB - they are definetly 10, best I ever had. It worth to wait for new release to get these cheaper 8. What's bad about them? If anything? JB - So far nothing. I've read reviews and so on but i'd like honest opinions from someone actually using them in the same application. If they really are that good then i might just give in and accept the cost. I do feel that for racing it too quality product ou can get cheaper options with similar specs. However if you plan to play FPS games then go for these
