The BMW Museum and facility in Munich is even "cooler" though a bit more pricey to get to for most. I benefit from frequent business trips to München so I go to the BMW facility as often as possible on those trips... along with frequent stops and the biergartens during the nice weather months.
Though completely off-topic, the Chinesischer Turm (Chinese Tower) biergarten in the middle of the "Englischer Garten" park in Munich is freaking incredible... nothing like a mas (or three) of Hofbräu Helles (a mas is a full litre) and a big soft pretzel whilst listening to some Oompa music. The English Garden park in Munich is huge as well... even larger than Central Park in NYC.
Visiting the Hofbräuhaus is pretty neat too... something about drinking beer from a 400 year old recipe in a 400 year old building is just really cool.

More or less a done deal for a BMW 130i M-sport with some extras on it. Gonna see my banker wednesday and then up to Gothenburg on Friday unless some other person comes and outbids me. Havent signed the papers yet, so there is a chance it will happen. But Im hoping it wont. Kinda good deal. Only 15k. Good mileage, ´09. Winter wheels on the car on seperate good-looking aftermarket rims and brand new Hankooks on the summer rims. Also done the bigger service just now so no big service costs upcoming. I wont be sleeping anything until I have the wheel in my hand. And going through half of Sweden to pick it up isnt the slightest problem. I'll happily drive that distance. The road up in train will be tedious thou lol.

Nice choice Marco! What color is it? And is it the 2/4 or 5 door? I'm pretty sure you wouldnt get a convertible lol

Lol, thanks. Still a chance I might not get it, but it looks promising. It's a really sweet car to drive. Lacking some top end but there is plenty of power to have fun and I think the resell value will be decent too. So that's good:) I cant wait for summer enough thou, so I can get the 18 inch rims on it with new grippy tires to see what it can do. 255 width on the back should mean it grips a bit better than winter 225 winter tires.
But overall Im very satisfied. It's quite a small car and very nimble I thought. I test drove a few other competitors and cant say Id take anything over this. The S3 might be quicker on paper but that turbo really made it horrible to drive. It's fun and quick, Im not saying it isnt. Taking off from a standstill is awesome in that car, but cornering and brakes didnt give me any confidence. The golf r32 is awesome too, but overall its just crappier in every aspect. Not by much in some aspects but it all adds up. With the one Im buying having a slightly different exhaust and intake compared to stock it also sounds even bette than a bone stock 130 and also better than a r32. Which it seems a lot of people like the sound of. I did take a civic type r out too as a dealer had one in, in great condition from what I saw. And it was a great handling, quick car. But fwd lol. But yeah, seriousky it felt good, but I dont think Id ever want a fwd car. Too bad as it excludes a great option.
It's le mans blue 5d. Didnt know they made 4d of the 130?
Nah, Id never buy a convertible. And I dont think the 130 has that option either thou. But sacrificing cornering ability for a cab? No sir.
