Took the plunge and bought a G27. Went down to $200 on amazon with free shipping and I just couldn't pass it up. Should be here next week.

Nothing wrong with the G27, although the pedals are kinda weak for my likings. Besides that I like it, a lot of buttons

You know yourself. I like my G27 but I changed out the pedals for the Fanatec Elites.

Tbh, I don't feel so much difference between stock paddles and the GTEYE spring except for the stiffness.

I have the GTEYE spring 3 months in use now and I can't say that my braking behaviour has changed. I still mash the brake. Maybe the spring still isn't stiff enough for me, because I don't feel the pedal that good through my shoes.

I use shoes but I have my brake pedal set absolutely rock solid so that's probably why. Until I did that I used to drive barefoot all the time.
