Not sure if the world knows about this, but cars here in sg is just too expensive (lots of tax)
Example, Toyota corolla 1.6, 90k usd Corolla 1.8, 120k usd Suzuki swift, 70+k usd
Now for the expensive ones Ferrari 458, 850+k usd Nissan GTR, 390+k usd Lambo aventador, 1.2 mill usd
For other cars, just multiply the original car cost by 3 for the expensive cars, and by 5 for the cheaper cars.
Aaand all because of the stupid [Certificate Of Entitlement (COE)]

I'm still a student so not a concern now haha Become a foreign exchange student here then get a job here. If you choose the right school you'll be a rockstar celeb of awesome exotic foreign land. If not you'll just be that weirdo (pretty much like any other school, or maybe that's just me). But we have plenty of cheap cars and roads. Also my Dad grew up out in Singapore, don't they drive on the left hand side of the road? For the price of one of the cheap beaters you could by a nice car and have enough left over for insurance gas and maintenance for like 4 years, or you know a nicer car lol.

You know, people always knock on how Americans can't make a car worth a damn, Americans can't drive (Because they don't win the races important to people in small areas of Wales and England, somehow that's the deciding factor i guess), blah blah blah...
Well, we're the patron state of racin' stuff. In America, you can get that used Corolla for $1500. You can turn it into a race car for $2500, and you can run it in the SCCA for $3500 for the year (or around there).
Come on over, son. 'Murica.

Lol I'll visit next year Another shit about cars in sg is U are only allowed to own the car for 10 years max, after which u have to either deregister or scrap it (no idea), or u will have to pay COE again to extend.. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Certificate_of_Entitlement
