I've been busy sort of overhauling all of the background stuff. The first thing on my list was to give the page a little bit more revamped look as our team progresses out of the structuring phase. It is my hope that we get on the sim-racing map as a team in the iRacing community, and the first thing we have to do is look presentable. That's why I've been making an effort into getting us good-lookin', serious racer-boy paint schemes; updating the forum look to match our new more defined direction; and next up will be an update to our website in early 2014S1.
Let me know how it looks for you.
Oh, and since WeiHan brought it up with me a few times, let me explain our situation with "sponsorships".
Black Adder Motorsports is not affiliated with the companies represented on our cars and in our banners through a sponsorship program. In fact, it is sort of the other way around for us; I have always believed in supporting companies that support motorsports programs, and supporting companies that I do business with on a regular basis. As team manager, I have chosen to use Black Adder Motorsports to promote these companies and businesses by giving them a little "free advertisement".
Royal Purple and Hawk Performance Brakes both have contingency programs that reimburse racers when they finish in the winner's circle or podium. Check out NASA Pro Racing for some of their contingency programs.
I have never had a pair of DC Shoes last less then three years. My next pair of shoes will be DC's. I will beat them to hell, they will get dirtier than a $5 day-time hooker, and they will still be comfortable and stay in one piece.
Full Throttle is probably the most drinkable energy drink in this solar system. Monster tastes like battery acid, but some how they add in a little Jesus and a little heaven on Earth into Full Throttle. If you need a kick in the ass and/or circulatory system to get going, and you don't feel like trying black tar heroin, then try a Full Throttle. Hell, they're a good 50% of the reason why I can get so much done in my days off instead of just sleeping and watching Netflix. So you owe them a spot on your car lol.
BlipShift is pretty much 100% of my torso-covering wardrobe. The shirts are comfortable, and they're geared for gearheads. Sweet stuff, good prices, quality shirts. Check them out at Blipshift.com.
I/We use MoTeC Telemetry Analysis software a lot. It is free. It is useful. It is awesome; 'nuff said. They let us use their Pro-level software for free, and I don't think there's much discussion needed about how much we should be giving them free hugs and free ad space.
