As I'm getting old (42) and starting to have some back pain, I decided to improve my driving postion. This is my actual "cockpit" So, I'm thinking about a 80/20 aluminium cockpit. Does anyone here have a project for one? If so I could buy the parts and assemble myself.

Here is a link to build one out of PVC pipe PVC Sim Build 1 and then a review and a couple of little adjustments in this one (Wheels pedals shifter on it) PVC Sim Build 2It also has a link to plans in the first Vid I also see no reason why you couldn't make a triple monitor stand as well.

Yes i had the simul8tor first, but when i went osw i got a 80/20. there a plans for a triplescreen just google. only downside is that it is fixed in position. and you NEED to make it haevy + get a screw in all the conections. good fun to build

If it is just because a back pain, consider to look out a more comfortable chair. Because depending of the 80/20 and the installed racing seat, the back pain might be still there..
