Chris Hendrich can you please try running practice at IMSA on a full grid? I want to see if you have any FPS issues there. I got my 1080ti installed and my graphic settings are way higher but COTA still drops fps through turn 1. Mattias Magnusson has the same issues (with 1080ti also).

Am 100% iRacing is the problem (thinking of DGFX). Running VLN atm and it's working fine. Not 90 fps but ASW is handling everything smooth enough. Still have the same settings as I do on other tracks.

Even with others in the session? And you have settings mostly on high? If so, can you please post your PC specs.

I doubt it would be RAM unless you have like 8gb... maybe use msi afterburner, it will show if youre maxing out your RAM

Not to sure about that but worth a try a guess. When watching the graph the memory won't go higher then 60% when everything is running and the stream is on.
Will look more in to it

Good point.
I used the latest one when I changed the GPU. Will try and roll back and see how that works.

T1 and out on the back straight is where you will drop FPS a lot. this track take bunch of FPS and the only thing that you can do about it is get more ram the graphics card is not the problem the RAM is because this track needs so much rendering

Same thing was with Imola. I've tried with only running the SIM and still the same problem. RAM load is 40-50%. As someone said on iRacing forum. It's an old engine and will probably always suffer until some big changes happens.

Yeah i Know and i think most of it came this or last update from iRacing the ram have to work so much harder to keep up and I ran shadows fine with oculus when I got my 1060 but now I can't because the ram is under so much pressure from IRacing all the time.

but COTA still drops fps through turn 1. Try lowering pit objects. Fixed most of my issues when you're close to pit lane, although I haven't tried CotA yet, but on other tracks it helped. Even though I run a 1080Ti too, I still have useless stuff (like grandstands, crowd or event) set to low, because during the race there is no need for all that, since you won't notice it anyway while driving.

I've been able to put all those on high now with no problems except in certain areas (T1 COTA). But even if I lower the settings I still get the fps drop so I just keep them on high.
