Ok, so since a restart of my computer on Sunday night my wheel has stopped working as it should. It's a Thrustmaster T300RS. On startup it usually spins left to its stop then all the way to the right before returning to centre and then repeating. Now it just goes half a turn left then violently right to its stop, and it repeats it continuously until i either unplug it or sometimes if hold it still it stops itself. In car it controls turning the same as normal but the force feedback is pretty much non existant, it just has enough force to centre itself.
From the posts online i have read so far, people have found fixes but only that have lasted for 20 minutes or so, but the general consensus seems to be that it is a terminal issue that always comes back, usually pretty quick.
Anyone have any thoughts or experiences with this?

If you have warranty, try to send it back. Friend of mine had similar issues and also checked the forums first. Couldn't fix it and sent it back. It came back fixed and all is good now.

Sending it back isn't an option now as ive had it in bits a few times and the original rim is in pieces. Spent a few hours earlier trying to sort it but got nowhere yet :/

My G27 did the same thing. It was the Logitech profiler conflicting with Logitech gaming software. So every time I unplugged the wheel I had to uninstall and reinstall the drivers. Real pain in the ass on a laptop

I got a new button box last week coincidently, i had tried unplugging it as i noticed it showed up in the Thrustmaster control panel but maybe there is something that has installed itself as part of the setup of that that has screwed the wheel up somehow.
