Up until now Ive been kinda bummed out with xbox one not releasing in sweden at the same time as the rest of the world, and not getting the opportunity to play forza 5. With expecting forza 5 to originally contain every car from forza 4+dlc+120 new ones and bathurst and a few tracks it would be an awesome game. Seeing that t10 released the car list today (or well, half of it) Im no longer one bit sad. Apparently, 120 cars in the game in total. Then expect montly dlc to get you to dish out more than a new games worth for the same amount of cars as the original cars, Im plenty happy waiting for forza 6 until getting the xbone.

Hmmm... Forza 5 does look great, but at this point, Im not willing to drop $400, on a "new" system (we all know how the xbox 360 was when it first came out lol). That, and I dont even use my 360 anymore, I might turn on netflix every once in a while, but for the most part, Ive moved my xbox from my room to the living room, and now my siblings play Grand Theft Auto V (which is a fun game).
Ill wait until the price drops, and they get the bugs figured out, same goes for the PS3.

Yeah, I probably won't at all get into it. Not a fan of how much Turn 10 basically price gouges, releasing content that is hoards better than the beginning content. I don't think any other game I've played on the 360 came close to how much it cost for the additional content to get the "full experience". Even Skryim... I got the damn game free, and then it was like... maybe $50 for all the add-ons and expansions. T10 can suck it, and the Xbox One just... all of the bullshit they valiantly TRIED to pull off before they realized they weren't fooling anyone... I cannot support a production team that does that kind of shit, and regardless of their change in heart I'm not going to buy their stuff lol.
Mark my words. 6-9 months after launch, after you gave them your money and bought their product under these new-fangled pretenses, they're going to stuff their original plan down your throat by changing their license agreement, making you jump through loops and be seen through the camera and paying for used games all over again, etc. It's going to happen. And when it does, the other companies may just get on that band wagon.

Not to mention all the old wheels/accessories probably wont work so you have to drop another $300+ on new wheels. I wont be getting a new console/forza....maybe in a year or two after price drops, and only if there's something amazing that comes out, or forza becomes a must have sim.

While Im still all into iRacing, I cant help but just be jealous of the content f5 seemingly is getting.. Now with the 2013 lotus f1 challenger (how could they pull that off?)
Paintable f1's mean full scale f1 racing without crappy codies physics. With the track list thats shaping up to be the best in any racing game I have a hard time finding excuses for not buying it lol.

I'm actually finding it to be even less interesting. From what I've understood, The Ring is gone. The car list is less than half of Forza 4. The track list has gone down substantially.
It seems that it's all due to an effort for more simulation and realism, as it sounds like they're doing a lot more laser scanning this time around. But... For the cost you'd have into upgrading into the Xbox One and getting F5 and then having to shell out probably another hundred dollars in content that will blow away all of the standard cars like they did in F4, AND depending on your wheel probably having to get another unless you have an Xbox-friendly fanatec (Though Thrustmaster will now have wheels out for the Xbox One)... You can get yourself a pretty good computer setup...

Yea forza can kiss my a$$ for now......I'm not spending $500 for the xbone, $70 for the game, $60+ xblive membership, $200-300 for a new wheel (i will always refuse to play with a controller).
The only thing I miss about forza is being able to drive street and super cars, and then being able to tune them with different parts. If iRacing could throw that into their sim, I think iRacing would be perfect lol.

Yeah, the car building thing is awesome, and that's basically all why I play Forza. The ability to build your own car to suit a level of racing is probably the best thing about Forza and Gran Turismo. I wish we could have something similar in iRacing. Especially since they're pretty much turning it into a video game anyway.
