John "Badoer" King Did you upload the race yet? I'm not seeing the f1 folder in your dropbox. Marco Mogren This was the first race since 2012......yes 2012 lol, when we actually had leader changes, instead of just the OP car running hotlaps wayyy out in front. Hamms brakes blowing up was a tragedy, with Ros making mistakes, Hamm actually had a good chance of over taking him later on in the race. It was also real interesting seeing everyones tire strategies. And for once I was actually impressed with Massa, but him being taken out was sooooooooo unnecessary. I'm surprised Vettel squeezed out alive.....but it was really fun seeing them battle it out up to that point though

@mav, But the only reason they could challenge the Mercs was because a) Hamiltons brakes gave up and b) Rosberg lost the electrical power of the engine. So it was one out and one at a big disadvantage. So it really wasnt a battle.. And wasnt there a lot of good battles during the first half of 2013? It wasnt until mid-way Vettel and RB blew everyone else out of the world.

Whoops my bad John, I went full retard >.< And Marco, that was sort of my point....because the cars were "balanced"..(even though it took one of the mercs running at half power LOL) the racing was close and exciting. Sort of like comparing the first and second seasons of the Forza IRL to the final season when certain jerks jumped into a BMW and ran away from the field every race LOL jk!

You ever gonna let that go? We all know who used cheater cars in the first seasons;) I found it interesting that a certain someone always shyed away from spec racing.. lol
But yeah, I mean.. Blamong Magnussen for that? I say race incident, but poor understanding from Massa and if anyone was to blame for the collision, it'd be Massa.

Massa is a piece of shit driver!! No racecraft at all, and the worst of all, he always blames everyone else but himself.
he should retire!

Germany and Hungary both on Google drive. Germany is a single file with just the race, Hungary is the full race day coverage.

No, they're different but I've just sent you invites to both - they should be in your email inbox.

The Spa F1 race - a true classic - is being copied to google drive as we speak.
How much of a cry-baby is Lewis Hamilton? He drives super aggressively all the time and when someone does the same to him it's "Mummy, MUMMY!!!!". Kudos to Rosberg - this time he really did say "Fuck you Lewis - let's see what happens if I drive like you do". Rosberg shouldn't have made a move like that so early in the race and should have backed out of it but Hamilton could easily have given room. As for crying to the press and telling them Rosberg admitted hitting him deliberately, that's just seriously poor - he's trying to get Rosberg into trouble with the FIA.

I agree with you John and it was my first thought when it happened, I think Rosberg was far enough up the inside of him that he should of given him room. I also think Lewis drove back to the pits fast making the tyer shed like that in order to get a pace car out, I'm glad they didn't. Good to see that Daniel is there to pick up the wins and not Vettle

The problem is that the F1 rules have been dumbed down and strictly according to the rules, the accident was Rosberg's fault - the rules say that you have to be halfway alongside or you must concede the corner. The problem is that that rule is written for divebombing and Rosberg didn't divebomb - they were halfway around a 2 corner section. The really stupid thing is if Hamilton had given him room, both of them would have made it thru the next 2 corners with Hamilton in front. I'd actually be really interested in seeing the telemetry for the line Hamilton took on that lap compared to others. Basically he cut straight across from the right hander towards the apex of the left. You would have thought that the best line is stay a bit to the right so you get a better line into the left (that's certainly the line we all take in iRacing) Here's 3 pics Unfortunately Sky used different camera on the 2 laps but look how much further left Hamilton is compared to Alonso in pic 2 and Button in pic 3. As I said, this was the normal Hamilton policy of "I'll drive you off the road if you try to pass" and this time Rosberg said "OK, let's do it then". F1 is really interesting this season - Ricciardo is proving just how mediocre and lucky Vettel was for the last 4 years, Bottas looks like the next Finnish world champion and Ferrari might as well build a Sportscar and give up F1

I do think it's time Ferrari looked for some up and coming drivers like Bottas. Kimi and Alonso are past the used by date

Man John, you're all fired up over this lol. The image I attached gives a better prospective. As we all know, and as even stated in our own BAM handbook, it's the overtakers responsibility to make a clean pass. Rosberg clearly had nowhere to go, as seen in that picture, so he was obviously hoping Hamilton would either pull way off the racing line so he could squeeze by or maybe he was purposely going to wreck him, Senna style....but of course thats all speculative. lol In any case, Hamilton has every right to be mad. If you were divebombed by someone, you'd be just as mad, especially when they destroyed your car and they went on to finish 2nd. I agree 100% about the Vettel remarks. He's clearly an average driver, and Ricardo is doing an amazing job. That situation between Vettel and Webber sort of reminds me of Rosberg and Hamilton. Vettel did everything in his power to screw Webber over, and it worked. Now we see Rosberg doing the same, but fortunately Hamilton is still able to pull off some amazing moves working his way back up the field in the past few races to make the points race still close. The only way Rosberg will gain respect from the f1 crowd is if he can beat Hamilton 1 on 1, man to man, without all these cheap tricks of blowing up Hamiltons car, or lucking out with Hamiltons car breaking down.
