Have you seen that this has been released? It's the follow-up to the old TOCA games and Grid by Codemasters and sounds pretty good. Available for PC, PS and Xbox. I might be tempted - the old TOCA games were awesome.

It's not bad. Arcady for sure and pretty easy even at very hard level but def fun. I'd wait until it's on sale before buying though. Probably worth $20 or so.

That it's arcadey wasnt a big surprise:P I just feel it's Codies trying to cash in one last time on the EGO-engine, and a re-hash, or "best of" if you prefer it, of the games they've released last-gen. But sure, sometimes a quick arcade-fix is fun. And if they could let modders go at it and do something with the physics, the car choices are awesome.
And for those who havent bought AC yet, it's on 50% today on Steam.

Grid has a pre-order sale right now....I REALLY thought about getting it, but like others have said, it's just too arcady for me lol. I've been watching playthroughs on youtube, and you get to the front of races by divebombing and using other cars as a brake in tight turns *Sigh* I finally downloaded Race Room Experince. Seems like a solid game, love the audio....but my god...the FFB is horrible....to the point where I cant even drive properly. I'm going to search the forums to see if I can find a proper FFB setup for a CSR wheel, if not...it's not even worth dumping money into the game. AC is also on sale but I held off on that too lol. D@mn these steam summer sales!!!! But I did pick up Dirt 3 for like 12 bucks...I miss rally games

Yeah, I still haven't purchased anything other than iRacing. I DID buy F1 2013 a while back, but it's so terrible on triple screens that I can't stand to play it haha. The feel is very arcadey and the AI is... well, AI. But I love the strategy calling on the F1 series.
Would like to buy ALL of this shit, but I'm trying to move, and if I'm going to spend money NOT getting ready to move, then I'm going to spend it on my computer.

F1 2013 is on my wishlist! Thats halfprice right now too >.< Why is it terrible on triple screens? The frame rate is really low or something? I wont get it if it sucks on triples.
I like it for the same reason you do too lol I'd still play F1 2012 on the xbox and finish my co-op with Dan, but I refuse to get a gold membership just for that game lol

GTR2 doesn't seem to work with my pedals, it's constantly registering full brake

@mav The interface just gets so annoying with triple screens. It's so arcade-like that you can't use the mouse IIRC, and the main menus and such get skewed lengthwise with triples. I've heard tell of a magic combination of graphics settings that takes care of it lol, so I redownloaded the game to try it tonight. I haven't even touched the classic F1 cars yet, but I played a little bit of career mode and it is a lot of fun in the way of strategy and fighting your team mate and stuff. The AI is just smart enough to keep you from dozing off, but still terrifying to sit behind them. You have to take time in quick race mode to find how THEY run the track and where they brake, that's for sure.
