I really love the Ford GT. How it looks, how it sounds. And i even heard it can turn, unlike other american cars.
Today ive heard about The new one... damn it looks like a BEAST.
What do you think.

I like it!
I was more excited to see the new Nissan Titan to be honest as I'm a current Titan owner.

"Even heard it can turn, unlike other american cars" Good way to get kicked off this American-founded team Did you like the Porsche 918? Because the Camaro Z/28 is faster than it at VIR. It achieves 1.16G of lateral grip, the same as the 918. In the uphill esses at VIR, the Z/28 surpassed the Porsche 918's average AND exit speeds. The only real difference is that the Z/28 looks better, sounds better, and costs $75,000. That being said I like the new Ford GT, and pretty much everything Ford is doing. Funny what happens when they realize a bankrupt company was beating them in the minds of adolescents and rich men haha. I'm excited to see the car in race form; I thought the Z06 with the Z07 package was wild, then I went to Sebring and the C7R's made me giggle like a little girl EVERY time they went by for 12 hours. The car should be very competitive in GTE-trim, though I'm sticking around to see base prices. It looks like Ferrari money. I'm also not jazzed as everybody else on the TTV6. Not that it's not going to be a good motor or it won't be fast, but the sound is only impressive because it's different. If the Ecoboost Riley Prototypes are even remotely similar, they won't sound nearly as good as a thumping V8 at full song. The Corvette Daytona Prototypes sound like they've been fed a steady diet of terrified children. The Ecoboost-powered DP's sound like a wet fart. -Travis

Too bad they want to phase out the DPs, they are cooler then those P2 cars I think. New Ford GT looks very cool indeed but I agree with Travis on the V6... And nowadays you see more American companies on the Nurburgring testing production cars then you see European ones, so I'm pretty sure they have found out how to make it around the corner. And about the 918 being slower than a Camaro. Oh boy, these things you totally cannot compare unless you put the same driver and especially the same tires on the car...

The Z/28 vs. 918 debacle came from Car and Driver's 2014 Lightning Lap test. Every year, CD take a group of unmolested new cars and flog them at VIR to see which was most impressive. The Z/28 obviously wasn't "Faster"; it was seven ish seconds slower on fastest laps. But the fact that you have to spend an extra $800,000 for results on track of only 7 seconds...
You know what WAS impressive though, back on the original topic of how "american cars can't turn", is that the Z/28 DID beat out the 2015 Porsche 911 Turbo S. Yes, they're not on the same shoes; the Turbo S get's P-Zeros and the Z/28 gets a step up at P-Zero Trofeo R's. And yes, they're not the same build quality, not even in the slightest.
But it was faster. At a race track. Consistently, and repeatedly. And again, for literally 2/5ths of the money. Plus even though it's not Porsche Quality or blah blah blah, the Z/28 is... a nice car.

I would hope they would drop a nice V8 or V10 in the new GT in the future then we would see where the Z28 is lol You could drop one of those GT's in my driveway any day of the week though.
