Found this and it helped heaps. Wouldn't of had a clue otherwise. My accelerator was staying on just a fraction even when my foot was completely off. Now its fine. YAY!
Use this video to help take them apart easier. I used a bucket but it still worked fine.

yeah I had to look at this a few times when I was putting it back together to make sure I had bits in the right place. Took me about an hour but I was being rather careful.

Had a problem again with my accelerator pedal not giving me full power so this time because I don't really use my clutch pedal I just opened up my pedals unplugged wires from both clutch and accelerator (taking a pic so I know where wires went) then swapped springs between the accelerator and clutch and put clutch in place of accelerator in the pedal case and vice versa now I'm using my clutch pedal as an accelerator. Not more problems works great!
