Marco "AkArO" Abbate I flew to Turin today and had to think about you so I took some pictures of the area where you live on the way back from Torino. It's really beautifull there! Torino is one of the best destinations to fly to because we fly past the Mont Blanc and the Alps and then a very quick descent because Torino is just after the mountains. This makes it a challenging approach (coming in high and fast) with a beautifull view which is so much fun! The chaotic Italian ATC just makes it even more fun, you just never know what to expect haha! In the last pic you can see the Mont Blanc which is the highest mountain of Europe!

Did you performed SIRLO7A, KUKEV5N as TSE? Great shots! We did indeed get that initially. But halfway through the sirlo dep we asked for a direct Matog which they gave us, it's a bit shorter (just make sure you're above fl180 @matog). Do you fly there?

Tommy, what kind of plane is that and what do you do for work? It's the Boeing 737-800 and I fly for Ryanair which is a low cost commercial airline and currently has the biggest fleet of Europe. You might not know them but they copied the concept of Southwest (which you know because I've seen them flying over San Diego the whole day every day haha). It used to be that the winters were really quiet and the summers really busy (holidays), but this winter is so strange because I'm constantly on my maximum amount of hours you are allowed to fly. Which is a good thing because I get paid per hour haha.

I know Ryanair as I grew up in Sweden and they became really popular there just before I moved away. Never been on any of their planes thought (have been on plenty of Southwest flight). I always wanted to be a pilot when I grew up but be eve pursued that dream, not sure why. Closest I've been is flying a Gulfstream simulator as a friend of mine is a Gulfstream instructor. That was very, very cool. Sounds great about the hours, let the $$ roll in
