So in the next month or less im hoping to upgrade my wheel and pedals. I currently use a plain old G27, with a desk, and a computer chair that I ripped the wheels off of so I dont slide lol. My desk is shoved into a closet and I use a box set of Lord of the Rings trilogy to lift my second monitor lmfao. I want something good finally! Im not looking to break the bank by any means with these multiple thousand dollar setups, so im hoping to stay below $900(CAD). I saw something and It kind of planted a seed and im seriously looking at upgrading now. So far what im looking at is this: www.fanatec.com/us-en/bundle/product;bundle_id;108Pro's -Price -More buttons on the wheel than the G27(been looking to add more, just never have time at work to do it) -The LED lights will actually be visable when im driving Con's -Hardwood floor, so if they slip need to figure something out -Need to buy a desk mount which is roughly $50 -Might need to buy an H-pattern shifter, even though I cant justify it since Ill barely use it. What are your suggestions, id love to read them. Might even upload a picture of it tomorrow when I get home from work so you can see my ghetto setup LOL

Malone reviewed the CSL package. Opinion about how it feels is in 2nd video from 18:30min mark onwards.

I would suggest look at the used marketplaces. two years ago I bought the CSW elite with an extra formula rim for around 250 E here, by a guy who used it for about a year with gloves. This is the one: www.virtualr.net/wp-content/gallery/3473/IMG_1510.jpgI just got myself the Fanatec V2 pedals for 100 E, and the guy even put in a second logic board which I'm assuming he bought as spare part to quickly replace the first one incase of failure. I want to change the spring in the damper but that's just a spring, it costs 5e shipping included v1 vs v2: www.virtualr.net/wp-content/gallery/3287/IMG_2328.jpgthe most important is to bolt them down to something solid, and find yourself a somewhat tweakable rig to fit yourself in. 8020 might be overkill if you don't have too much space I was curious about those new CSL but to be honest i'm not impressed. I think it's more for the console market

Forgot to mention: this is the best button box when looking at the price/usefulness ratio:

T300rs with t3pa pro pedals are well within that budget and a good improvemnt ovwr g27. Id invest in a good set of pedals if ur wheel is still ok

I'd say get a used T500 or T300 wheelbase, buy a new ferrari alcantera wheel. And buy the Fanatec CSP v3 brand new.

T300 seems to be the best option, but the pedals are most likely abit crap. the newly announced fanatec gear looks interesting, but i havent looked into it.
G29 seems abit too expensive for what it is (atleast here in europe) but
