Hi guys, last Sunday one of the most horrific accidents in motorsport happened. During one of the BTCC support races 17 year old Billy Monger drove in full speed into a car which was trapped on track. Yesterday the hospital announced that they unfortunately had to amputate both of his legs. His team established a trust to collect some money for his recovery and treatments after the surgery. If you have a few Pounds left, please donate to his trust. I am sure, he will be more than grateful. www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/BillyMonger23Thank you guys!

My friend James Pull is a mate of Billy - they raced together in F4 last year. Really terrible accident - just incredibly unlucky. As soon as I saw the on-board footage I thought he'd be lucky to survive at all and certainly not surprised he's lost his legs. But, he sounds like a fighter so hopefully we'll see him, Zanardi style, in a car again sometime Amazing response from the motor racing community - GBP 400,000 raised in a day, including gBP15,000 from Jenson Button. (and some from me although a lot less than Jenson!)
