Just curious what kind of speed and connection you guys got. Just found a deal for students that I took advantage of since my girlfriend is still a student. 250/20mbit/s for a very generous 15 bucks a month. Before I had 100/10 and the last two months Ive been using 25/10 for 12 bucks a month. 100/10 cost 20 bucks before. Dont think it will make much of a difference in iracing but I'll feel a bit more safe with going into american servers and ovals. Might be a bit better?

F YOU AND YOUR LOW A$$ INTERNET RATES!!!!!!!!!!! Over here in 'murica, if you live out in the country you only have DSL which is like 5/1 @ $20-30. Most people have cable internet which is 5/1 to 100/20 and costs $40-$150, and then there's verizon fios which I have.....I think their slowest package is is like 15/15 @$40, i'm running a mid tier package of 75/35 @$60 and their top tier package is something like 500/150 but costs $300 lol
But if you're the only one using your internet connection, as long as you have a good ping, you'd be fine with really low bandwidth like 10/5. iRacing and all the other multiplayer games arent sending/receiving anymore than 2-4mbps of data at any one time....unless you're downloading a patch or something. The only reason to have a bigger plan is if you have other people streaming videos and downloading stuff while you're trying to race.....streaming an HD movie on netflix (10mbps) + someone downloading pr0n at typical speeds (20-30mbps) + you on iRacing (4mbps) you can see in that scenario you'd need at least 50mbps download speeds

Lol, it's pretty cheap yeah? That really is a ridiculous price you pay, but I guess that's what happens when it's more private companys that are responsible for expanding it? Hereover we have more or less fiber everywhere. All large citys in Sweden (meaning 30k people +) has the possibility to get 1gb at 27 dollars. Or up to 30 if the exchange rate is high. So I think we have it pretty good over here. To get 100 for upload the cheapest is 22 dollars. 1000/500 sound really nice. You could download all the pr0n in the world! And upload it at the same time. And also... Isnt DSL that thing that goes "ghniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigokwarkgniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiitititititniiiiiiiii" when connecting to the internet? lololol Oh the good old days in the 90's when it took 10 minutes to get a picture downloaded lol
