Going to jump into this conversation here,
I currently have the V2 pedals. One thing i didnt like was the isolation problem with them, But since the V3's have it as well i guess when manual adjustments could fix this which isnt so bad, I am liking a stiff brake pedal and a short throw of brake to suit my driving style.
Have tried all with these V2's and i can't seem to get it right for me. My other option was hydrualic pedals but if the V3's could be as close to them as possible i would love to spend alot less then i have 2.
Liking the damper kit of it as well. The only problem at the moment is that the damper kits don't come into stock on the fanatec website until april here in australia!
Could try hunting around and see what i can find.

Spend all day (Spa, Daytona, Nordschleife) to manually calibrate the pedals. Clutch and Gas were quite easy, seemed to solve some corner exit oversteer issues already. Feels like a lot less wheelspin. Brake pedal is somewhat tricky. It takes a lot of steps to get it going good.
What I am doing: Guessing the pressure and set it as maximum in the drivers. Calibrate in iRacing to the pedal pressure while I'm threshold braking. Hold that pedal position, give at a couple of more milimeters more push and set maximum in drivers again. Recalibrate in iRacing to 100% to get the maximum 4096 thingy. And repeat. Needs a lot of fine tuning though, I don't think that I'm at the satisfying end yet (although I can run 51.2% brake bias at Daytona easily now).

I think I crapped my brake pedal. The first 1cm is normal, than there is a quick lack of resistance for half of a cm, and than it's just super slow in compression and feels very stiff and awful. All smoothness in braking movement is completely gone. This is less noticable with stiffer brake pedal (stiffness 5) than with lower stiffness. Does that sound like a usual problem (like a dead load cell) or is it more like a dying brake cylinder? Christian Challiner , Tommy Vandergucht

Not had this but sounds more mechanical than a broken load cell. Is this with a damper attached?

Not had this but sounds more mechanical than a broken load cell. Is this with a damper attached? Yes. Would have tried to disconnect the damper kit tomorrow, but I fear the issue isn't the damper as I haven't touched it since the installation (no setting change or screw tightening or whatever).

Try without the damper but it sounds like it's the main cylinder, load cells only either break entirely mechanically or go to shit electrically. You'd get no reading on it during that initial press I wouldn't have thought if the loadcell was broken.

Yeah, well the input is okay though when I look into the driver window. It's just the overall feeling that makes it crap atm. So I probably need to contact Fanatec Support -.- Damn, and that just after half of a year.

It might just be something which got into the cylinder. You might have luck in just taking the plunger out and re-greasing and cleaning it. Not sure how easy that would be since I've never taken my V3's apart.

So, I detached the damper kit and brake pedal feels normal again. Damn, that's a load off my mind atm. Hopefully it stays that way. But the load cell seems to be dying nevertheless, as it is somekind of slightly blinking in the calibration window but not in iRacing though. Will keep an eye on it.

If anyone is thinking about an upgrade on there V3's the new brake kit is great and well worth the money. www.fanatec.com/au-en/pedals-accessories/clubsport-pedals-v3-brake-performance-kit-aus.htmlI put these in a few days ago and now I have to relearn how to use the middle pedal. I haven't tried all the cars yet butt he Caddy, DP and the 911 are much better under braking even though I think I could soften the feel just a touch more. When I get these pedals the damper wasn't in stock so I had to wait and I have now added that to them as well but over the week end I'll be trying it without just to see if the brake kit lives up to it's claims.

Stephan Spantig sorry I just saw this thread. Sounds to me like a broken damper as in leaky, if it's an oil damper look for any kind of oil on the outside it shouldn't be any at all. If it's an air damper and you can take it apart look for any marks on the membranes and packings. if you can't take them apart try to listen to any kind of hissing sound especially for the air damper.
