Thanks Joshua "Tire Destroyer" Mertz. Whatever I get I want the option to be able to mute one of the inputs dynamically on the fly (like if I'm on TeamSpeak and don't want people listening in). Will have to check out stereo mix.

Thanks Josh! I will look into that. So far you helped me way many more times than anyone else here outside racing topics. I don't really have a meh PC, somewhat in the middle ground of PC gaming I think. I have an i5-4690k, which is a blast if gaming only. I only start to suffer FPS whenever I start recording as I want the best graphics to be recorded. In which I know I should be running an i7. My GPU is an R9-290X. Everything else is mediocre parts. I think I only suffer that consequence because I run triples, and then recording. yeah, I guess I will still have a meh PC even if I own a top tier CPU and GPU. I will eventually find a way to ask more out of what my hardware can deliver. (rofl)

As it seems, stream is working fine according to a friend of mine. Can stream in 60fps though. Now I need some work on mic sensivity, kutuapps and later on scenes and how to display twitch chat with not much of extra work.

Kutuapps is the best. Just wish my track map would work... Yeah, I'm not sure if I need that or if it's too much on the screen. For ovals like you do it's probably a viable option, for road I don't know. Question though: How to tell OBS I want to use buttons on my wheel for push-to-talk? It won't acknowledge button actions from my wheel.

I ran into a problem today: I use game capture to grab the ingame footage at all times, so it still shows the ingame picture when I'm on the desktop. But when I'm switching to the desktop, I loose the ingame sound on the stream. Is there an option to resume ingame sound while not ingame?
Edit says: Nvm, found it.

Joshua "Tire Destroyer" Mertz, how did you implement Robins video into your stream? Did you download the video from somewhere or is there an option to play a video from a youtube source?

I think you need to download it and play it on a mediaplayer. Not completely sure

I think you need to download it and play it on a mediaplayer. Not completely sure So far I can put in youtube URL and the video plays. But it shows the whole browser window, so I tried youtube embed link. This actually shows the video only, but it doesn't play. I could implement from a local file, that's true. I just wanted to save myself work by simply copying the youtube video URL somewhere and let OBS do the work You know I'm lazy ^^ Do you have the video laying somewhere to download?

Since I updated OBS Studio to 15.4 I get random crashes every now and than. When looking in the latest log files, something like this shows up repeatedly:
20:42:39.240: [game-capture: 'iRacing'] attempting to hook process: iRacingSim64DX11.exe 20:42:39.240: [game-capture: 'iRacing'] init_pipe: failed to start pipe
Anybody has a clue what the hell this is?

So, it looks like the stream is stable now. Stream was running yesterday for more than 3h straight. OBS just crased once, when I was closing it. I can live with that. I just need to figure out how to get fullscreen ingame again without having to use ALT+Enter after Alt-Tabbing out of the Sim. Joshua "Tire Destroyer" Mertz : I am playing Robins video before the actual ingame-feed starts. Is there a way to let OBS automatically switch to the gameplay after the video ends?

I have not found a way to do that yet. Also I run iracing in windowed mode so I can go to other programs without having to alt tab out of the game. I edited the app.ini file to keep it full screen while in windowed mode, but I run triples so that was a must anyways. I know I take a slight performance hit but it's worth it.

I'm making the jump back to a 1 PC setup. Going to stream and game from the same PC again. Getting that itch to upgrade so selling the stream PC to fund upgrade for the Gaming PC. Going to Skylake to go along with my 1070 that I've had for a little while now.

Joshua "Tire Destroyer" Mertz: do you use OBS Studio? Sorry if I already asked that already somewhere, I forgot. Maybe there is a way with auto-switching the scene when a media file ends. There is an auto switcher plugin for Studio, will have a look at it during the weekend.

Do we have some standard BAM Overlay for streaming for OBS?
